New Year Resolutions

To rising above all the little problems…
The beginning of a new year in some retrospect symbolizes a new chance at fixing all the past mistakes, erasing the unwanted things from your life, and starting fresh with a new perspective; keeping the same dreams, but following a different path.
Why are resolutions important?

  1. The Brain Language
Our brain works in a cognitive way that is evolved in a way that is based on setting goals. Once those goals are set, the rest is simply working and shifting one’s perspective and life to achieve these goals.
Setting a new year’s resolutions puts a target for our brain to follow; the more positive and life advancing the goal is, the more it would ultimately drive you towards it.

  2. Clarity & Meaning
Goals give a person clarity and a purpose towards what one would like to achieve in the future and a vision into what destination their life would be headed. Having a deeper meaning and a desire to do something throughout the year will decrease the chances of wasting time, energy, and money.
Purpose is what motivates us and moves us to take action.

  3. Progress
Setting up goals would insure, in a way, that one is working towards progressing in life and reaching new targets that have always just been a simple dream. Progress in all fields of life happens when people set, pursue, and achieve goals. If there are no goals, there is confusion. And confusion delays progress.

  4. Keeping Connections
One of the most effective ways to ensure that your new year’s resolution would be followed is by setting common goals with friends in order to work on them together.
Setting the same goals with close friends will keep you connected to them, will drive you more strongly into working towards achieving the goals, and would give you a sense of fulfilment and happiness.

These reasons may not be the same for everyone, but they are worth taking note of and being considered to insure that with the coming of every year comes new challenges and new hopes for a better tomorrow.
