The Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Economics is designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and character necessary to succeed in a variety of fields that require financial and economic expertise. The program aims to help students develop a deep understanding of the principles of accounting and economics, including financial analysis, reporting, taxation, micro and macroeconomics, and to apply that knowledge in creative and practical ways.

Through rigorous coursework and hands-on experiences, graduates of this major will be able to:

1. Demonstrate proficiency in analyzing financial information, conducting audits, and preparing financial statements for diverse stakeholders, including businesses, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations.
2. Understand and analyze the theoretical foundations of accounting and economics, including the principles of financial accounting, managerial accounting, micro and macroeconomic theory, and quantitative analysis.
3. Develop and apply research skills, including the use of statistical analysis, economic modeling, and econometric techniques, to inform financial decision-making and economic analysis.
4. Collaborate effectively with peers and stakeholders to develop innovative financial and economic solutions that meet the needs of diverse clients and stakeholders.
