Agriculture and Sustainable Development

The Bachelor of Engineering in Agriculture and Sustainable Development is designed to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and character necessary to succeed in a variety of fields related to agriculture, environmental sustainability, and rural development. The program aims to help students develop a deep understanding of the principles of agricultural science, sustainable agriculture, environmental science, and natural resource management, and to apply that knowledge in creative and practical ways.

Through rigorous coursework and hands-on experiences, graduates of this major will be able to:

1. Demonstrate proficiency in designing and implementing sustainable agricultural practices to address complex challenges related to food security, environmental sustainability, and rural development.
2. Understand and analyze the theoretical foundations of agriculture and environmental science, including soil science, plant science, animal science, ecology, and climate change.
3. Develop and apply research skills, including the use of inquiry methodologies and data analysis techniques.
4.Collaborate effectively with peers and stakeholders to develop innovative solutions that promote sustainable agriculture and environmental sustainability.
